Falcons News · 7th/8th Grade Girls Basketball Picks Up Win Over Plymouth

The 7th grade girls traveled to Plymouth and came away with a hard fought victory over 31-30. In a game that saw a 20-10 lead at halftime get into a back forth battle in the 2nd half, the Lady Falcons hung on for the win. In the game free throwing shooting was the key, the Lady Falcons were 9-13 from the line thanks in large part to Eli Lang’s 9-10 shooting. Lang led all scorers with 17 points. Katelyn Vermilyer and Erika Harding each had key buckets for the Lady Falcons. The 7th graders are 12-1 on the season.

The 8th graders hosted the Red Storm from Plymouth and defeated them 43-33. The scoring was evenly balanced for the Lady Falcons with Aubrey Rizek and Kennedy Hayden pacing the Urey with 9 points each. Karla Galvez had 8, Sophie Strange and Mia Hooten chipping in 6 each.  The 8th grade moves to 10-5.

Both teams travel to Boston tonight.
