The John Glenn Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Culver Community HS 7-1. In the first half, Glenn was a bit out of rhythm. With the wind and rain, Glenn seemed to let the unpleasant evening affect their play. While up by a goal at halftime, Glenn came out in the second half a totally different team. Their passing was crisp, defense was smothering, and attacking relentless thus turning the game around in their favor. Andrew Snyder made 4 saves in goal. Samuel Thomas had 2 goals, 3 assists. Michael Day 2 goals, Cayden Heckman 1 goal, Justin Henry 1 goal, Ryan Shoue 2 assists, Braylon Smith 1 assist, and 1 goal was scored as an Own Goal (OG) by Culver. Overall, a very good effort by everyone in the win.
