The Falcon women’s wrestling team traveled to Columbia City High School for the annual Thanksgiving weekend two-day tournament. Junior Britain Whitmer had a strong showing, going 3–0 on the day and defeating several tough opponents. She finished with a pin, a tech fall, and a minor-decision win over competitors from Beech Grove, Angola, and Fort Wayne North. Senior Maggie Nowak had a challenging day, going 1–2 for the tournament, but she improved her record with a pin over Highland. Due to weather, the Falcons were unable to compete on day two, but Britain Whitmer still placed sixth overall. The Falcon wrestlers continue their season tomorrow with a multi-dual event at home against Kankakee Valley, Knox, and LaVille High School.
