JGSC Girl's Tennis hosted their Invitational on Saturday. Results: 4th Place- Laville with 2 points 3rd Place- John Glenn with 7 points. 2nd Place- Rochester with 9 points. 1st Place- Knox with 12 points. For John Glenn: 1st Singles- Lauren Allsop earned ONE point for the day. Lauren stepped up to 1st singles as her varsity debut and played wonderful!! Very proud of all her hard work! vs Rochester 0-10, Laville 10-4 and Knox 5-10. 2nd Singles- Reese Blaire earned ONE point for the day. Reese stepped up to 2nd singles and had a played 3 great games! vs Rochester 4-10, Laville 10-2 and Knox 2-10. 3rd Singles- Emily Harness earned ONE point for the day. Emily stepped up from JV for her Varsity debut as singles! vs Rochester 9-10, lost in a tie breaker, vs Laville 10-5 and Knox 3-10. 1st Doubles- Haylee Isbell & Ariah Haines earned TWO points for their team. They worked well together and had a great day at the net. vs Rochester 10-8, vs Laville 10-7 and vs Knox 4-10. 2nd Doubles- Trinity Stackman & Sammy Walker earned TWO points for their team. The girls had a great day with their serves and communicated well! vs Rochester 10-1, vs Laville 10-9 and Knox 4-10.
