The girlstennis team hosted the INSC which involved seeded matches vs Bremen, Tippy, Jimtown, Knox and Laville. #1 Singles- Vivian Stephens was seeded #4. Vivian won her first match against Knox 6-0, 6-1. Her second match had to take place the next day due to weather where she faced a tough Bremen competitor. Vivian ended the conference in 4th place. #2 Singles- Nora Gusiella was seeded #5. She started out Tuesday vs Knox and was 3-4 but the rain stopped the match. Unfortunately, the match continued on Wednesday in which Nora was unable to attend due to being the president of FFA. She was able to make it to her second match vs Laville but ended the night 5-8. #3 Singles - Lauren Allsop seeded #2 for the conference with her inpressive 4-1 wins during the season. She faced a tough Tippy Valley and Jimtown players and finished 4th in the conference. This is very impressive for being one of the youngest members on Varsity. #1 Doubles- Haylee Isbell/Ariah Haines were seeded 5th in the conference. They had a long first match vs Knox and were up on Tuesday. Due to the rain delay they continued on Wednesday and lost in a 3rd set tie breaker. They finished the tournament strong with beating Laville 8-0 and placing 5th. #2 Doubles- Trinity Stackman/Sammy Walker were seeded 3rd in the conference. They played Laville and won 6-2, 6-4 in the first round. They had a long 3 set match against Jimtown and came up short putting them in 4th place overall. The girls all played very well against all the weather conditions over the 3 days. The girls will find out their seeding for Sectionals this Sunday night.
