The Falcons had 12 wrestlers compete at the IHSAA Sectional hosted by LaPorte on Saturday. They advance 4 from each weight class to next weeks Regional round of the state tournament at Crown Point. The Falcons had a strong showing in advancing 6 wrestlers. The team finished in 5th place on the day. The team managed to claim one Champion in 175 lb Mason Kobelt, 2 runner-ups in 120 lb Brody King and 132 lb Walter Drews. Two 3rd Placers in 113 lb Evan Chapman and 126 lb Josh Chapman. And one 4th Place finisher at 165 lb Gage Caverley. Placeing 5th and being the first alternates are 106 lb Britain Whitmer and 150 lb Blake Forkner. Placing in 6th was 285 lb Cooper Riester.
