On Saturday afternoon, a select group of Glenn boys soccer players participated in the Northridge JV shootout. The first match, against the host school Northridge, was a very physical affair in which the Falcons lost 2-0. The second match was against Plymouth and Glenn found themselves on the wrong end of a 1-0 score after a controversial penalty kick was ruled good however, Goalkeeper Brayden Whitmer had smothered the ball on the goal line but the sideline referee had ruled that the ball had crossed the goal line and Brayden knocked it back out. Despite the result, the boys played hard, aggressive, and with a no quit attitude in both matches.
