The Falcons got on the board first scoring 3 in the bottom of the first with 5 hits. The first 5 hitters in the inning all got hits. They were Lizzi, Laskowski, Thomas. Lichtenbarger and Manering. In the of the 3rd falcons put 2 more on the board with hits by Manering, Winchell and Brinkhoff. The lions fought back getting within 1 run but the falcons held on for the win. Timm pitched for her 5th win of the year while having 12 K's. Manering ended up with 3 hits on the night. Laskowski and Thomas each collected 2 hits. On the JV side the bats were hot. Falcons got the win 9-0 with Baugher. Oldham, Bryant each had 2. Bajer and Winchell both 3 RBI's in the game. Baugher pitched the first 2 innings striking all 6 batters out!! The falcons play again at home on Saturday VS Plymouth.
